Today's company Johann Pötscher GmbH with the Spar grocery market in Schenkenfelden and its 4 INTERSPORT stores was founded more than 170 years ago. What began as a small shop in 1839 has developed over four generations into a medium-sized company of regional importance.

2010: Purchase of Sport 2000 Niedersüss and opening of INTERSPORT Rohrbach

2012: Warehouse expansion by 450 m² at the Rohrbach location

2013: Opening of an INTERSPORT Rent branch in the Hochficht ski area

2014: Modernization of the Spar market in Schenkenfelden with the opening of the café next to the post office

2017: Opening of an INTERSPORT branch with 1200m² in Linz/Urfahr

2019: Expansion and redesign of the Ottensheim branch to 900 m²

2020: Purchase of the company Flock & Print in Ottensheim

2022: Conversion of the Spar market in Schenkenfelden to a Nah & Frisch hybrid market with self-service hours
